withdraw的基本意思是“取〔收〕回”自己的東西或已經(jīng)說出的話等,指出于某種原因或動機而有意地移動,這種原因或動機一般是得體的、禮貌的,也可能是出于不滿。withdraw引申用于軍事可表示“(使)撤退〔出〕”,有時還有“提款”的意思。

withdraw既可用作不及物動詞,也可用作及物動詞。用作及物動詞時,接名詞或代詞作賓語; 用作不及物動詞時,常與介詞from, to連用。
