Thursday is Dragon Boat Festival. My mother got up early. She soaked the dates and rice in the water, and then brought the bamboo leaves. When I woke up, I saw my mother making zongzi and said to her, "Mom, can I make zongzi with you?" Mom said, "yes, but you have to wash your hands." After listening to my mother, I went to wash my hands. After washing my hands, I began to learn how to make zongzi. I learned from my mother to roll the bamboo leaves into a cone, first put a red jujube in it, then put some rice, I asked my mother to wrap it for me, and then I tied the zongzi with five threads, so I did a lot of continuous work. My mother steamed the wrapped Zongzi on the grate, and after a period of time, the fragrant and hot zongzi was ripe.
We began to eat zongzi, bite, delicious!
