我今天到宜昌市植物園去參觀，我看見了各種各樣的植物。有水杉，銀杏，雪松……其中水杉是國家一級保護(hù)植物，被稱為“活化石”。

水杉是壽命很長的一種喬木植物，一般可長到三十多米高。水杉的葉片很細(xì)，無數(shù)片葉片整齊地排列著，兩邊的葉子成V字形，水杉喜歡在土深，肥沃，濕潤的地方生長。

Metasequoia is a kind of arbor plant with a long life, which can grow to more than 30 meters in general. The leaves of Metasequoia glyptostroboides are very thin. Countless leaves are arranged orderly. The leaves on both sides are V-shaped. Metasequoia glyptostroboides like to grow in deep, fertile and humid places.
