Sound is better than silence

白居易在《琵琶行》中寫下了“別有幽愁暗恨生，此時無聲勝有聲”的千古絕句。也許，這是當時千言萬語在無言中的最好寫照。但有時，或者說更多的時候應(yīng)是有聲勝無聲。

Bai Juyi wrote the eternal quatrain "don't worry about life, but it's better to be silent than to have a voice". Perhaps, this is the best portrayal of thousands of words in silence at that time. But sometimes, or more often, there should be more sound than silence.

這一生最景仰的人是燭之武。不是他肯放下私人恩怨而為國挺身而出的品質(zhì)，而是他竟能用一段話使秦師從邊境中退去，挽救一國家，一個即將滅亡的國家?！叭羿嵧龆幸嬗诰乙詿﹫?zhí)事”“越國以鄙遠，君知難也”“焉用亡鄭以陪鄰？鄰之厚，君之薄也”“且君嘗為晉君賜矣，許君焦、瑕，朝濟而夕設(shè)版焉”這些語句句句擊中要害，簡潔而又明了，讓秦伯感受到亡鄭的害處而是放棄攻鄭。這就是語言促進溝通的力量呀！怎能叫人不佩服？

是的，我們沒鄒忌諷齊王納諫的能力，我們也沒有周恩來總理巧答記者的智慧。但我們都有會用語言表達的能力，為何不物盡其用呢？
