今年是2008年，是奧運(yùn)年，是值得我們中國(guó)人驕傲的一年！然而今年也是中國(guó)多災(zāi)多難的一年，雪災(zāi)、地震、洪災(zāi)等等一系列的災(zāi)害，震驚了全世界的人民。然而正是這一年，我們的民族精神被表現(xiàn)得淋漓盡致。

08年元月底2月初，正當(dāng)我們舉國(guó)上下高高興興迎接奧運(yùn)會(huì)的時(shí)候，我國(guó)南方遭受了百年不遇的冰災(zāi)，使人民的生命財(cái)產(chǎn)受到了巨大的損失。南方的電網(wǎng)受到了極大的破壞，湖南最為嚴(yán)重。但也出現(xiàn)了許許多多的英雄人物，他們?yōu)閾尵入娋W(wǎng)而英勇?tīng)奚恕：鲜‰娏咀冸娊ㄔO(shè)公司員工羅海文、羅長(zhǎng)明、周景華在高壓線路上人工除冰時(shí)，因線路覆冰太厚、鐵塔不堪重負(fù)，3座鐵塔相繼坍塌，正在線路上搶修的3人也相繼從50多米的高空墜落地面，周景華當(dāng)場(chǎng)遇難，羅海文和羅長(zhǎng)明經(jīng)搶救無(wú)效身亡。他們死了，但我覺(jué)得他們死而無(wú)憾，因?yàn)樗麄兪菫榱巳嗣竦纳?cái)產(chǎn)而死，他們是最可愛(ài)的人。

5月12日14時(shí)28分，四川汶川發(fā)生了里氏8。0級(jí)的大地震。瞬間使得那里的樓房坍塌，人員傷亡慘重。溫家寶總理在第一時(shí)間趕到了重災(zāi)區(qū)指揮抗震救災(zāi)行動(dòng)。當(dāng)?shù)啬承Ｖ袑W(xué)的政治老師譚千秋，在地震來(lái)臨前，他正在上課，這堂課的題目是：人生的價(jià)值。當(dāng)?shù)卣饋?lái)臨時(shí)，在緊要關(guān)頭他用自己的身體護(hù)住了4名學(xué)生，把生的希望讓給了學(xué)生，自己卻獻(xiàn)出了寶貴的生命，他用自己的行動(dòng)完美地演繹著這堂課。一位來(lái)自廣東的醫(yī)生來(lái)四川旅游，湊巧碰到了這次地震，他家8口人全死了，可他化悲痛為力量堅(jiān)持奮戰(zhàn)在抗震第一線，確實(shí)令人感動(dòng)……一方有難八方支援，不論身份地位，不論年齡大小，舉國(guó)上下人們紛紛伸出援助之手，甘當(dāng)救災(zāi)志愿者，捐款、捐物等等。我們班的李康華同學(xué)把他平時(shí)節(jié)省下來(lái)的210元零花錢(qián)毫不猶豫地捐給了災(zāi)區(qū)人民，他是我們少年兒童的楷模。
