I was leaving my driveway to drive one mile to town. There were woods and few houses along the way. I had just pulled out and there was a thick fog1 rolling in. Very creepy at night. I had only gone a half a block2 at most very slowly when I saw a very bright light through the fog. This was very strange since there was nothing near my house.

　　As I drove3 closer, I saw a Phillips 66 gas station. It wasn't there the day before. I pulled into it in shock4 and a man came out. I asked him how a gas station could have been built so fast and he looked at me strangely. He said it had been there for eight years.

　　I asked him where I was, when he told me I began to shake uncontrollably. I was 300 miles from home! I looked at the clock and I had left my driveway only two minutes before.

　　走得近了，我看到那是一座菲利普斯66號(hào)加油站。我簡(jiǎn)直震驚了，昨天還沒(méi)有了??！我開(kāi)車(chē)進(jìn)去，這時(shí)有個(gè)人出來(lái)了，我就問(wèn)他到底是怎么回事，怎么會(huì)在如此短的時(shí)間內(nèi)建起一座加油站。他詫異地看著我，告訴我說(shuō)這個(gè)加油站已經(jīng)在這兒有八年了。

　　我就問(wèn)他我這是在哪兒，他的話(huà)嚇得我毛骨悚然，我再也控制不住內(nèi)心的恐懼。我現(xiàn)在正在離家300英里以外的地方?？戳丝幢恚瑑煞昼娗拔也艅偝鲩T(mén)。
