A father and a son were passing Zhao Fu's field when their horse got frightened and refused to move.

　　The sweating father and son went to ask for Zhao Fu's help to push the cart.

　　Zhao Fu said yes and put his hoe（鋤頭） on the cart and took over the rein1 from the son. He gently holds the bridle2（韁繩） of the horse, and before he raised the whip the horse had begun to run.

　　累得滿頭大汗的父子倆跑過(guò)來(lái)請(qǐng)?jiān)旄笌退麄兺栖?chē)。

　　造父答應(yīng)了他們的要求，拾起田里鋤頭，放在車(chē)上，從兒子的手中接過(guò)韁繩，輕輕地?cái)埩藬堮R的轡頭，不等他揮起鞭子，馬已經(jīng)開(kāi)始跑動(dòng)起來(lái).
