One day Wei Wenhou has drinking merrily when he suddenly remembered that it was time go to hunt with Yu Ren who was in charge of mountains and rivers and hunting.

　　Although it was raining outside, he ordered departure1. Seeing he was about to leave, his trusted follow asked, "You are drinking so high -- spiritedly and it is raining outside, where are you going?" "I have an appointment with Yu Ren to go hunting today. So although I am drinking high-spiritedly I can fail to go for the appointment."

　　Then Wei Wenhou went to see Yu Ren in person and told him that he was in a happy mood and canceled the hunting plan.

　　魏文侯喝酒喝得正高興，忽然想起與掌管山澤田獵的虞人越好打獵時間到了。雖然這是天正下雨，魏文侯還是命令出發(fā)。

　　他的親信侍從見魏文侯準備動身，就問道：“今天這喝得這么高興，外面又下雨，您這是準備去哪兒呢？”魏文侯說：“我與虞約好今天見面去打獵，雖然喝酒喝得正在興頭上，但怎么可以不遵守約定的時間呢？”

　　于是便親自到虞人那里，和他談了自己現(xiàn)在歡快的心情，取消了原定的打獵計劃。
