　　我最敬佩的是喬的堅(jiān)強(qiáng)，她從不一味地抱怨生活的艱難，而是一次次鼓足勇氣，勇敢面對(duì)重重考驗(yàn)。她很少把懦弱的一面表現(xiàn)出來(lái)，使大家心情沉悶。當(dāng)母親要去看望病重的父親時(shí)，喬把自己一直引以自豪的滿(mǎn)頭秀發(fā)賣(mài)了25元錢(qián)，并說(shuō)“現(xiàn)在剪掉這頭亂發(fā)，我還可以健腦益智，我的腦袋變得又輕便又好使”，可是晚上她又在被窩里為自己的頭發(fā)而傷心。她是一個(gè)充滿(mǎn)活力，樂(lè)觀向上的女孩，給家人們更多的勇氣與力量。她能平靜地面對(duì)生活，為她愛(ài)著的人著想，理智地做出選擇，也正因?yàn)槿绱?，她獲得了人們的尊重與文學(xué)創(chuàng)作的成功。小說(shuō)的最后，她已蛻變成一只美麗的蝴蝶了，像她的母親一樣溫柔、樂(lè)觀、充滿(mǎn)愛(ài)心。
