英語基礎(chǔ)一般也能考出GRE高分 實(shí)用經(jīng)驗(yàn)吐血推薦
正式準(zhǔn)備一個(gè)月,前十天因?yàn)樾那槭指≡?,基本上是玩過了。后二十天開始每天泡圖書館準(zhǔn)備。每天大概是7:30 起床,24:30睡覺,中午在圖書館還睡一個(gè)小時(shí)。 建議大家不要學(xué)我,晚上十二點(diǎn)之后睡覺對智商是有損害的。
首先說單詞
很重要!必須每天刷!一定要hold住到底!整個(gè)verbal就靠單詞!
我背單詞用了三千+新紅寶,每本各刷了10遍左右,除了第一遍認(rèn)真背了,其他都是快速過。最后記憶率大概有80%多吧。
此外我還用了網(wǎng)上一份資料叫 "GRE琦叔單詞串講分類整理小紙條版",感覺很有用。但是需要注意的是里面有一些錯(cuò)誤。
填空
先說參考書:OG+陳圣元的那本,但是需要說明的是這本書的精華在于每道題的解釋,題目比真題簡單了好多倍。
最后總結(jié)出來的方法:
1、嚴(yán)格找重復(fù),這個(gè)重復(fù)可能不僅僅是句子內(nèi)部,還有可能是句子之間
2、還有重要的一點(diǎn)是根據(jù)英文的總分表達(dá)習(xí)慣選詞,GRE的題目很多都是首句總說一個(gè)細(xì)節(jié),后面跟著幾句解釋。
準(zhǔn)備過程:單詞大概過了5遍的時(shí)候開始準(zhǔn)備填空。
陳圣元一共做了45套,每套計(jì)時(shí)大概6Min 錯(cuò)誤率一般在兩個(gè)以下,一開時(shí)候的時(shí)候很開心,后來用了PP2模考,發(fā)現(xiàn)真題比陳圣元難了好幾個(gè)等級!所以大家一定不能掉以輕心,其實(shí)解題原則是一樣的只是真題的迷惑性更大。總之嚴(yán)格找重復(fù),就對了。
閱讀
參考書:1、陳虎平36套,只做了一遍,感覺是文章和真題差不多,但是每個(gè)問題的題干比較繞。
2、長難句的分析推薦上小站,上面的長難句訓(xùn)練資料很贊。我開始做閱讀之前大概分析了200個(gè)句子,后來在長難句上基本沒有遇到過問題。(如果你長難句有問題,這里有一個(gè)小原則:無論什么樣的句子,首先找主謂賓)
3、OG
方法:功能導(dǎo)向型閱讀。具體的方法是 絕不跳讀 1、首句一定要讀懂!不一定是主旨句,但是通過這句話你能知道這個(gè)文章在說什么。 2、讀完每一句話要主動去想,作者的態(tài)度是什么、下面可能要說什么、這句話的功能是什么。 這樣讀文章才能對整個(gè)文章的脈絡(luò)、作者態(tài)度的走向有個(gè)清晰的把握 3、對于細(xì)節(jié)部分,如果你猜對了這個(gè)細(xì)節(jié)的功能,那么可以略讀(注意只是快速讀,不是跳過不讀),但是要對其中涉及到的事物(可能是人名、事件或某個(gè)物品)有印象,方便定位。
準(zhǔn)備過程 : 長難句分析大概做了200個(gè),之后開始做36套,第一套計(jì)時(shí)30min 全對。
后來發(fā)現(xiàn)自己做的好慢,于是開始每篇計(jì)時(shí)訓(xùn)練(大家做題的時(shí)候最好用讀秒那個(gè)功能,不要用倒計(jì)時(shí)),期望的目標(biāo)是平均每個(gè)題目1.5min,但是最終只有短文章達(dá)到這個(gè)程度,長文章時(shí)間穩(wěn)定在9min, 邏輯題大概2min /道。
36套上面的每個(gè)題都能找到解釋!我每完成一個(gè)練習(xí)都會把文章的結(jié)構(gòu)畫一遍,不管這個(gè)文章有沒有做對。
問題:1、該不該記筆記。這個(gè)我覺著因人而異,我是從來不記的,不記筆記都做不完。而且我覺得你讀完一個(gè)句子把它的功能記在腦子里面比寫下來耗時(shí)少。
2、答題的時(shí)候用不用定位回原文。我的原則是,定位,這樣準(zhǔn)確率比較高。
3、36套多長時(shí)間做一套。 我到最后都是20min左右汗啊我也不知道大牛們是怎么壓到15、16分的,但是對我來說要保證正確率這個(gè)就是極限了。最后到考場上的情況是30min的時(shí)間剛好夠用。
數(shù)學(xué)
一把辛酸淚啊!!只做了OG、PP2上面的數(shù)學(xué)題,模考大概就167、169 最后竟然考了165。
唯一的感覺就是真題比??茧y,我每個(gè)section都是卡著時(shí)間做完的。
藥學(xué)專業(yè)大三line 兩年沒碰過數(shù)學(xué)如果你的情況跟我相仿請不要忽視數(shù)學(xué)。
說說考試吧
GRE考試的時(shí)候請千萬控制自己的感情整個(gè)考試過程最好不要有任何心理活動,不要猜是不是適應(yīng)到easy了,不要想是不是遇到verbal加試了之類之類的。這點(diǎn)本人深刻檢討,VQVQV 第一個(gè)Q做完之后就感覺做的很不好,直接導(dǎo)致第二個(gè)Q做的時(shí)候還在想是不是第一個(gè)做的不好,大家千萬不要這樣。
總結(jié)一下我的原則
1、充足睡眠。短時(shí)間備考的特別不建議每天睡5個(gè)小時(shí)啥的有損智商。
2、 單詞是重中之重,說的極端點(diǎn),你寧可完全不準(zhǔn)備閱讀和填空,也要把單詞刷到10遍以上。單詞達(dá)到一定的熟練程度之后,verbal就是一個(gè)純智商問題。
3、不要忽視數(shù)學(xué)!
這個(gè)成績樓主本人還是比較能接受的,雖然沒過330很怨念,但是起碼不會成為短板。樓主已經(jīng)過了追求完美的那個(gè)年紀(jì),GRE成績不代表全部,申請的過程推薦信、PS、GPA啥的可能更重要,沒有必要過于執(zhí)念。請各位放松心情上考場,樓主為你們祈禱哈。
