托?？谡Z難點(diǎn)一：基本沒有準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間

托福口語部分共有六道題，每道題的難度遞增。以最容易的第一題來說，準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間只有15秒，回答時(shí)間只有45秒。這對(duì)于很多沒有充分準(zhǔn)備的考生來說，根本還沒來得及思考，準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間就結(jié)束了。剛要開始回答，第一個(gè)句子還沒來得及展開，回答時(shí)間就結(jié)束了。我們知道：Peoplearevery,veryemotional.正常情況下，人們是很容易受到自己情緒影響的。第一道口語題一旦發(fā)揮失利，必然會(huì)影響到后面的表現(xiàn)。每道題之間銜接緊密，基本沒有讓考生喘息調(diào)整的時(shí)間。因此很多考生都是從第一題開始一敗千里，甚至考完了試都不敢回顧自己在口語部分的表現(xiàn)。

托?？谡Z難點(diǎn)二：回答必須具體詳細(xì)

在托?？谡Z部分的評(píng)分細(xì)則中，考生回答中的“details,examplesandspecificreasons”被明確的規(guī)定為評(píng)分的重要標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。這一規(guī)定的確是一針見血。有很多考生，憑著多年的考試經(jīng)驗(yàn)，背了一大篇模棱兩可的句子。如:“Generallyspeaking,incurrentworldwehavesomeconflictingtheories…”等等。打算在考口語時(shí)用這樣一堆“stocklanguage”濫竽充數(shù)。但是，這一在其他考試中行之有效的手段，在托福口語考試中卻不會(huì)有好的效果。一旦參與評(píng)分的美國教育考試中心的兩位raters不能在回答中找到具體的細(xì)節(jié)，該考生的回答立刻會(huì)被評(píng)為劣等。

托?？谡Z難點(diǎn)三：托福口語詞匯，句型必須豐富

這一點(diǎn)要求考生在回答時(shí)，不能只使用單一的“thisisabook.”,“thatisapen.”這樣的句型。想要取得一個(gè)好分?jǐn)?shù)，考生所使用的詞匯和句型必須要能匹配得上自己的教育背景。要能表明該考生在真實(shí)的北美學(xué)術(shù)環(huán)境中可以很好的進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)交流。

托?？谡Z難點(diǎn)四：托福口語回答必須流暢，思維必須清晰

想要破解新托福口語部分，我們首先把托?？荚嚺c雅思考試做一個(gè)橫向的對(duì)比。我們發(fā)現(xiàn)，雅思的口語部分一般由考官來主導(dǎo)考察過程?？脊俚淖饔皿w現(xiàn)在兩方面：

A、當(dāng)考生由于緊張等原因無法發(fā)揮出水平時(shí)，考官會(huì)盡量提供幫助，誘導(dǎo)該考生發(fā)揮出真實(shí)的水平。

B、當(dāng)考生對(duì)考題作了充分的研究準(zhǔn)備，并按照事先準(zhǔn)備的回答流暢的進(jìn)行背誦時(shí)，考官會(huì)主動(dòng)打斷該考生的背誦，且有意轉(zhuǎn)換到生僻話題。目的仍然是要考察該考生真實(shí)的英語水平。由此可知，在雅思口語考試中，側(cè)重進(jìn)行考察的是conversation,即真實(shí)的交流，交談能力。但是，托福的口語考試與此恰恰相反。因?yàn)闆]有考官的參與，整個(gè)的考察過程更類似于一個(gè)presentation.考生只要圍繞考題進(jìn)行回答，整個(gè)的回答過程都不會(huì)被打擾。這就意味著：提前準(zhǔn)備好回答的魔板，完全可以大大減低口語回答的難度。
