61. I’m not going to give it away. 我才不62. 會(huì)透露

Give something away 主要有兩個(gè)意思，一個(gè)是“透露（答案、秘密）”：
A：Can you tell me what the answers on yesterday’s test were?
你能告訴我昨天考試的答案嗎？
B：Sorry! I can’t give the test answers away just yet.
抱歉！我現(xiàn)在還不能透露考試的答案。

另外一個(gè)意思是“贈(zèng)送”：
A：What! You charge for water? 你們連水都要收錢？
B：I’m sorry, but it’s expensive. We can’t just give it away.
很抱歉，不過水是很貴的。我們不能免費(fèi)供應(yīng)。

63. You got me. 你問倒我了

當(dāng)別人問了你一個(gè)問題，而你卻不知道答案的時(shí)候，你就可以說 you got me:
A：When did the Tang Dynasty end? 唐朝是什么時(shí)候結(jié)束的？
B：Umm….. you got me! 嗯……你問倒我了！
這句話在使用上的另一個(gè)時(shí)機(jī)是，當(dāng)你做一些不想讓人知道的事，卻不巧被發(fā)現(xiàn)，這時(shí)你也可以說You got me.“你逮到我了。”
A：Didn’t you say you were at home all day yesterday? 你不是說你昨天整天都在家嗎？
B：That’s right. 對(duì)啊！
A：Liar! I saw you with your girlfriend at the mall!
騙子！我看到你跟你女朋友在購物中心里！
B：Whoops! You got me! 糟糕！被你逮到了。

64. So …… after all 所以 ….. 到頭來

這個(gè)句型可以用來表達(dá)某件事經(jīng)過一番波折，但最后還是回到原來的狀況或決定。
A：It’s final. We’re going to Bali on our company trip. 定案了。我們公司旅游決定去巴厘島。
B：Ah! So we are going to Indonesia after all. ?。∷缘筋^來我們還是要去印尼！
A：My boss finally agreed to give me a raise. 我老板終于同意給我加薪。
B：So you’re not going to quit after all. 所以你就不辭職了！
