　　實例1：Watch a movie at theatre or watch the movie at home, which one do you prefer?

　　要在電影院看電影，還是在家看電影之間做選擇。從個人感受來想，大家多數(shù)可能都會選擇去電影院看電影，但是除了說big screen，或者永遠也不知道怎么用英文表示的“熱鬧”之外，大家就不知道再怎么繼續(xù)說下去了。其實，不妨從Time & Money方面來考慮，我們是否能把話題說的更具邏輯性和更具體呢?

　　Time - watch the movie at home.

　　在家看電影是最省時間的方式了。如果去電影院看電影，家住得遠的還要大老遠跑到市中心去看。為了看熱門電影，還要排長隊買票，買完票后還要等好久才能看到電影。從這些經(jīng)歷來看，確實，在家看電影也不錯。

　　很顯然，這個托?？荚嚳谡Z錯誤屬于混用語法結(jié)構(gòu)的一個典型。這會使句子產(chǎn)生歧義：難道是說My teacher gave interesting andmotivating assignments to the students? 因為本句中interesting和motivating 是平行結(jié)構(gòu). 或者是My teachergave interesting assignments and motivated thestudents? 因為亦可以理解成gave和 motivated是平行結(jié)構(gòu).所以錯誤使用語法會帶來許多意想不到的麻煩。

　　當我們重復使用一個短語或單詞的時候，不僅會給人以詞匯量過小的感覺，有時甚至也會造成誤解，這對于托福口語分數(shù)是很有影響的。我們來看一個例子：

　　My teacher wrote the assignment on the chalkboard. The assignment was on thechalkboard until the teacher erased the assignment after we had all done the assignment.事實上這句話的觀點會更加清晰，如果我們將重復的詞替換為其他表達的話。我們再來看看改進后的表達：

　　其中 assignment 被替換為 task; teacher 變?yōu)榱藄he; chalkboard 被改為了board. 不但句子顯得更加生動活潑不刻板，信息量也比原來要多了。

　　托福口語怎樣練好流利度和連貫性

　　托?？谡Z是一種對語言的運用，平時我們在說話的時候都是比較流利的交談，可能并沒有注意這方面的問題，在新托?？谡Z中流利程度也是一個重要的標準，對于托?？谡Z學習來說這個曾經(jīng)不是很受重視的問題現(xiàn)在也需要關注了。

　　影響托?？谡Z流利度的因素通常有兩個，第一個是自身語言儲備不夠，另一個原因是因為心理素質(zhì)不夠強大。關于語言的積累，那真是要費一番功夫。一個良好的學習習慣非常重要，需要量化到每天背多少單詞，多少句子。這里就不詳細講了。關于心理素質(zhì)方面，很值得探討，因為你想想，我們前面的準備工作都做好了，如果因為感覺不好意思而丟分的話，那就虧大發(fā)了。

　　當然有!首先我們清楚一個事實，那就是每個人都是去考試去了，不是去秀英語了，他們根本就沒有時間來關注你，所以你不用為自己的口語水平暫時的不好感到尷尬。其次，如果你很容易受到外界環(huán)境的干擾，那么在你平常練習的時候就要有意識的在一些相對嘈雜的環(huán)境中也做一定量的練習了。
