No one can avoid being influenced by advertisements and advertising exerts a tremendous influence on us.Recently,there are people who are of the opinion that public has the right to know the correct information of the advertisements and government also should restrict the contents of these advertisements.Personally I agree with this opinion for the following reasons.

In the first instance,consumers have the right to know the correct information before deciding on whether to buy them.Advertisements are highly information that helps people to make choice before they go to buy what they need.If the advertisement exaggerates the products it also will persuade people into buying things,which they don't really want.

Secondly,any misleading advertisements will lead to the marketing tricks,causing chaos in the market.Too many misleading advertisements are barrio to distinguishing between decent products or products of bad quality.His bread in truth is made with soy flour,while he advertises it as white bread.These misleading information causes illegal competition.

Last but not least,government should stipulate laws in consumers'interests.According to the laws,advertisements must be truthful.If the advertisements mislead consumers,government can impose great fine on them to set a lesson.

In general,the role of advertisements is inevitable and undeniable.A good advertisement can be a bridge between business and consumers and helps keep business moving.So we need correct information and government also needs to restrict the contents of advertisements.Let misinformation of advertisements be far away from us.

In conclusion, university education not only helps students locate a decent job but will also develop other qualities such as enhancing their analytical skills and cultivating their hunger and spirit for life.

Animals were friends or foes of humanity at different times of the human history. In modern times, experiments upon animals have long been a breeding ground for spirited debate. Some animal activists argue that we should ban animal experiments altogether because subjecting animals to experimentation is unjustifiable on moral grounds. Yet some other people contend that the advancement of science necessitates animal testing. Personally, I believe both their views have merit and demerit.

Granted, empirical evidence suggests that many animal experiments are performed callously without any heed to the discomfort or pain that laboratory mammals endure. First and foremost, improper confinement of test animals such as locking them up in cramped cages or poor veterinary is inhumane .It can gravely disrupt natural biological functions of the test animal. Further, the effects of vaccination and vivisection conducted on live rodents, primates and other lab mammals can be gruesome and chilling. They may, in some cases, even constitute sheer torture of live animals.

However, from a more pragmatic perspective, evidence is mounting that animal experimentation is still largely a necessary evil and there is no practical alternative for it at this point. In the first place, it is manifest that drug experimentation on live mammals is far more effectual than experimentation on bacteria or on other lower species in testing drug safety. Drugs that have severe potential side effects on homo sapiens must be tested by pharmaceutical companies on live mammals first to ascertain their toxicity. In the second place, in space research, live animals are still the only viable alternative to humans in testing living creature reaction to outer-space experience on a flight not considered to be sufficiently safe for human astronauts. Lastly, lab research about the behavioral tendencies of chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans and other members of the primate group is also necessary. It produces valuable outcomes consistently advancing anthropological and genetic studies.

To conclude, I concede that experiments upon animals may induce suffering to the test animals. However, I am convinced that there are no feasible alternatives to this methodology at the current stage of scientific development. On balance , I think that we should allow animals testing to be continued but at the same time use techniques such as analgesic, anesthetic and tranquilizing drugs to minimize the pain inflicted upon the test animal and augment the general welfare of these animals.

Air transport is commonly used to move fruits and vegetables to places where those farm products can’t grow or are out of season. The benefits of such business are obvious, but air transport also creates a number of problems.

Transport of fruits and vegetables by air enables consumers to enjoy a wider variety of fresh and in-season farm products from all over the world. Not only is air transport good for consumers, it is also a blessing for farmers because the market is no longer restricted by regions. As a result, air transport increases the sale volume by selling more products in more places.

Moreover, air transport of food has now become a major resource of incomes for air companies. In the past, air companies’ business mainly came from serving passengers. However, facing an increasingly tough market, air companies need to expand their share of market to serve a wider range of customers in order to stay in the game and make a profit. With a booming economy and more money to spend, people create a great potential for food transport business and good margin for air companies.

In spite of such benefits, air transport is not free of problems. One major issue is high cost. Air transport is probably the most expensive way of transport. Higher costs entail high prices, which in turn deprive people with less money the opportunities to enjoy such privileges. So air transported food is now for the rich, a fact that is unfair for poor people.

In addition, it is not the best option to solve problems by transporting food from outside for places where certain kinds of fruits does not grow. The most optimal way, it seems to me, is that we should change the environment required by such plants using scientific and biological methods such as creating suitable soil and temperature. Such solutions will be proven to be ultimately cost-effective and fundamental.

More importantly, research indicates that air transport pollutes the environment. For example, Britain transports half its food by air. However one kilo New Zealand fruit emits five kilo warm house gas on its way to destination. Therefore, some environmental groups and books advocate people to distinguish local fruit and air-transported fruit in an effort to cut the pollution from food consumption.

In conclusion, air transport has many benefits for consumers and farmers, but it also has problems such as high cost and pollution. More effective and environmental friendly solution should be found to address such problems.

The voice of demanding the government to control violent scenes in media has been much louder than before. Personally， I totally agree with this voice， for it is the most effective way to reduce violent crimes in the real world.

First and foremost， violence on TV or in films is often portrayed as extreme as possible in order to attract audiences. This will definitely set a bad example for those immature audiences， who， lacking correct parental guidance， are most likely to copy the violent behaviours and commit real violent crimes.

However， excessive violence is offering misleading information to the public， which will exert detrimental influence to the society. For example， teenagers will regard those killers and murderers in the films and on TV as role models and copy their behaviours. It is recently reported in the news that a seventeen-year-old killed all his family members， one sister and two parents out of hatred and jealousy. In the real world， we are often reminded of the harm and hurt that violence in fictional world has brought us.

In a word， our society is preoccupied by the violent scenes and plots at present. What the government has to do immediately is to take effective measures to control the amount of violence in media. Only in this way， can our society enjoy high level of security and peace.
