星期五的晚上，我和媽媽出來散步。我說：“媽媽，咱們?nèi)P凰廣場的荷花池看看吧！”媽媽說：“可以?！?/p>

On Friday night, my mother and I went out for a walk. I said, "Mom, let's go to the lotus pond in Phoenix Square." Mom said, "yes."

我們很快就來到了池塘邊。我看見睡蓮在慢慢的合攏，我知道太陽高高升起的時(shí)候，睡蓮就會慢慢的張開的，像一把把撐開的雨傘，又像一個(gè)個(gè)碧綠的大玉盤。橋下面有噴泉，荷葉下面還會有許多藕，藕白白的，胖胖的，像個(gè)小娃娃。

We soon came to the pond. I saw the water lilies closing slowly. I knew that when the sun was high and rising, the water lilies would open slowly, like an umbrella, like a big green jade plate. There are fountains under the bridge and many lotus roots under the lotus leaves. The lotus roots are white, fat and like a little doll.

夏天的廣場真美呀！
