盛夏的中午，我正昏昏欲睡呢，忽然聽(tīng)到了由遠(yuǎn)而近的一片蟈蟈叫聲。我不由精神大振，循聲追出去一看，見(jiàn)一位頭戴草帽的老伯伯正在巷口賣蟈蟈呢。那么多的蟈蟈在各自的小籠子里扇動(dòng)著翅膀，“蟈、蟈”地叫個(gè)不停，像一支龐大的樂(lè)隊(duì)，合奏著一部交響樂(lè)。我付了一元五角錢，請(qǐng)老伯伯為我挑選了一只，歡天喜地地回了家，把它掛在窗臺(tái)前。

這只終于屬于了我的蟈蟈，可真像個(gè)神氣的大將軍啊。它穿著一身翠綠色的盔甲，肚子很大，腿兒長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)，鼓鼓的大眼睛像兩顆透亮的寶石，頭頂上那兩根長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的觸須則揮灑著抖擻英氣。在它的嘴邊有兩顆鉗子一樣的牙齒，啃咬我放進(jìn)籠去的一串毛豆時(shí)，一雙大鉗利落地連連夾去，豆子很快就被啃光了。

盡管我天天辛辛勤勤地喂食，蟈蟈卻只顧悠閑地在籠子里看窗外的風(fēng)景，有時(shí)蹬蹬漂亮的長(zhǎng)腿，有時(shí)輕舞長(zhǎng)鞭一樣的觸須，卻一直沒(méi)有振翅放歌。

今天天剛亮呢，我就被一陣陣清脆、快樂(lè)的鳴叫聲喚醒了。啊，這是蟈蟈的歌聲，是我的蟈蟈將軍的歌聲!這歌聲確確實(shí)實(shí)就是從窗臺(tái)那里傳來(lái)的!

我從床上一躍而起，奔到窗前一看，我的蟈蟈將軍正扇動(dòng)著背上翠綠的翅膀，大聲歡叫著呢!它的聲音可真響啊!真有大將的氣度和風(fēng)范啊!
