Although the number of book city and library has increased sharply in summer, and young students have become the backbone of reading, the survey shows that students' reading is still an ambiguous problem. Among them, the lack of credibility of classic names among young people is a phenomenon that can not be ignored. Recently, we interviewed some young students and parents randomly in the book city and library about why students don't read famous names. Here are the reasons for not reading famous books:
The name belongs to "idle book". On the fourth floor of the book city, where teaching aids are mainly sold, many parents and children are working together to select various kinds of guidance materials. The mother of a boy in the second year of junior high school was worried. She said that the child liked reading literature books very much and learned Chinese well, but the total score was not ideal. Next year's entrance examination is coming. At this time, she dare not take it lightly. She "will never let her children touch idle books at this time, and her name is no exception.". A senior two girl focused on reading "one lesson, one practice" and other things. Her mother proudly said, "I don't force her to read famous books or oppose her reading when the child is old, but the child is conscious. She knows what to do now." Too long, too thick, it's daunting. The language and structure of the long story have become an obstacle for people to get close to fame. Many people said that they sometimes turned over their names, only to feel dazzled, didn't see anything and put it down, and didn't want to touch it again. Even if we want to see it, we usually only see some short stories, and the famous "film and television version" of literature is more popular. Some students said that now most famous brands have been made into TV series or movies, and they will know what is going on after watching them, and they have no patience to watch the original again. In words, they dare not scorn the name, but "worship ghosts and gods far away.". In the book city, most of the students are junior and senior high school graduates. They said that in the past summer vacation, they were stuck in various classes, and had no time to read. A senior high school student in a key middle school in a city recalled his experience of reading famous books and said with a wry smile: "I have seen such famous books as" gadfly "and" how is steel tempered ", as if they were all read in a hospital bed??? Sick at home, do not need to go to school, from my father's bookcase out to read. Not now, "count of kedushan" has been watching it off and on for a semester Fame has nothing to do with life. In the interview, it was surprising that the students expressed their enthusiasm and excitement for the works of "the rainy season", "the first intimate contact", "triple gate", etc. They think these works are "interesting" and "close to life". There is a girl who may have some representative views. She claims to have read some famous books such as Tess, Jane Eyre and Anna? Karenina and others also like Bing Xin and Zhang Ailing. She is not exclusive to famous brands, but she prefers to read fashion magazines and successful people (such as bill? Gates) biographies, and financial books. She appreciates rich dad and poor dad, saying that these books are enlightening and have a more direct impact on life.
One parent said that he hoped that his children could read some famous names, but it was enough just to read some, so he didn't need to read too much, because he didn't have to engage in literature or go to the Chinese department in the future. This attitude is common among parents. In Shanghai book city, I saw a girl who was engrossed in copying the passage in journey to the West. I asked her why she didn't buy it simply because she liked it so much. She said it was the "excerpt" assignment assigned by the teacher. In fact, she couldn't see it at all. She got up in a hurry and closed the book and left. In Shanghai Library, a girl searched a large number of famous titles and asked if she often read them. A: in order to complete the task. Ask again: what do you think of reading names? A: no idea. I learned in the library of Putuo District that nine out of ten of the students who came here to borrow their names came close to their names in order to finish their summer "homework".
