At present, there are many disputes among middle school students about whether they should read martial arts novels or not. I think it's worth reading martial arts novels, especially those by famous scholars such as Jin Yong and Gu Long.
Many people think that novels are vulgar and worthless. Some middle school students also regard reading martial arts novels as the best way to adjust their body and mind, change their minds or pass the time. Although martial arts novels belong to popular literature, most of them are about life and death, friends, swords, righteousness, patriotism, love, economy, wine It's not vulgar at all. On the contrary, many themes are noble, which makes modern people lack virtues. Some people think that martial arts novels are too bloody, too cruel, but this is the embodiment of the theme of "violence, killing and killing", which is the necessary means to maintain justice. Some people think martial arts novels are too untrue. They are all bragging. So Li Bai's poem, what "white hair three thousand Zhang" and "the water of the Yellow River is flowing in the sky" is also a little too mysterious. Why is Li Bai's exaggeration romantic? Is the exaggeration of martial arts novels bragging? Some people think that the characters of martial arts novels are vulgar. Then he must be reading erotic novels under the guise of martial arts novels. It is not positive to regard fiction as a pastime. Reading martial arts novels carefully can learn a lot. Some of your masterpieces are called encyclopedias. Take Tianlong Babu as an example, including geography, history, go, Buddhism, Taoism and other knowledge. There are many things in it that are learned in textbooks. It is of great benefit to learn the knowledge while reading martial arts novels.
Some middle school students complain that they will be addicted to martial arts novels, which will affect their academic performance and lead to vision loss. I think this phenomenon is not in the minority, but the problem is not in the martial arts novels themselves. Things themselves are not good or bad. It's people who determine good or bad. Opium is the best painkiller and antidiarrheal in the hands of good doctors, and "longevity cream" in the hands of illegal traders; weapons are the tool to protect the people in the hands of public security, and the weapon to commit crimes in the hands of gangsters; power will be the well-being of the people in the hands of integrity, and vice versa. Similarly, martial arts novels in the hands of some middle school students have become a drag, but also can only find their own reasons. It's impossible to "not me, not soldiers" to blame the martial arts novels. The fundamental difference between human beings and animals is that they can control themselves. If they could restrain themselves, they would not have happened.
Martial arts novels are just one of many literary schools, and there is nothing terrible about them. If middle school students can restrain themselves and read martial arts novels after study, they can not only relieve fatigue, but also increase their knowledge. Why not?
