母親節(jié)(Mother's Day)，是一個(gè)感謝母親的節(jié)日。這個(gè)節(jié)日最早出現(xiàn)在古希臘;而現(xiàn)代的母親節(jié)起源于美國(guó)，是每年5月的第二個(gè)星期日。母親們?cè)谶@一天通常會(huì)收到禮物，康乃馨被視為獻(xiàn)給母親的花，而中國(guó)的母親花是萱草花，又叫忘憂草。
