still用法
still可以用作副詞
still用作副詞時,意思是“還,仍舊,尚”。對想象中應(yīng)該結(jié)束的動作或狀態(tài)還在繼續(xù)表示“驚訝”; 或是強調(diào)始于過去的動作或狀態(tài)仍在繼續(xù),且含有“到目前為止”的意思,所以多用于一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)和現(xiàn)在進行時態(tài)。still用在肯定句中,須放在助動詞、情態(tài)動詞后面,行為動詞之前; still用在否定句中,須放在助動詞和情態(tài)動詞之前,當(dāng)助動詞是be時,把still放在助動詞前面或后面都可以,有時還可放在直接賓語之后。still可修飾比較級,作“還要,更”解。

Although she felt ill, she still went to work.她雖然覺得身體不舒服，但仍然去上班了。

Still的用法和注意點
一、形容詞still作“靜”、“寂靜的”、“靜止的”講
1.still water靜水;still lemonade無氣檸檬水
2.All sounds are still.萬籟俱寂。
3.Please keep still while I take the photograph!我拍照時請別動!
二、“副詞still+比較級”表示“還要或更……”之意
In appearance this computer is still better than that one.從外表上看，這臺計算機比那臺更好。
【注】有時也可用"比較級+still"意思同上。
三、副詞still作“仍舊”、“仍然”講
If heat is still added, the temperature of the boiling water does not rise any more.如果水再加熱，沸水的溫度也不會上升。
四、副詞still修飾全句，作"可是...還..."講
The weather is very hot;still is not unbearable.天氣很熱，但還不是令人受不了。
五、動詞still作"使得……平靜"講
Anything cannot still the sea.任何東西都不能使海洋平靜下來。
六、詞組still less(何況)，still more(況且)分別用于否定和肯定句
1. He never thought of the test flight, still less did he conduct it. 他從沒想到這次試飛，更談不上去做了。
2.He repairs the machine ,still more does he set it to pieces.他會修理機器，那就更會拆機器了。
七、同音詞still(n.)作"蒸餾釜"講
The liquid remaining in the still contains much free acid.蒸餾釜內(nèi)剩下的液體含有許多游離酸。
八、幾點注意
Ⅰ.注意still的詞序及在比較級前出現(xiàn)作"還要更加"講。
1.He is standing still.他站著不動。(形容詞)
2.He is still standing.他仍然站著。(副詞)
3.For some time to comer then, we can still safely say that human brains are still complex than computers.那么在未來一段時間內(nèi)，我們?nèi)钥煞判牡?/p>
說，人腦比計算機還要(或更加)復(fù)雜。
Ⅱ.注意still less，still more在否定和肯定句中用法(見上述第六項)。
Ⅲ.still除作名詞、動詞用外，在其他大部分情況下作"仍然"講。

03yet和still做副詞的區(qū)別yet和still都用來談?wù)撘欢螘r間以來那些已經(jīng)(或還沒)發(fā)生的事。
但是它們的意義和使用語境是有區(qū)別的：
yet主要用來指一個人等待和期待的事情，但到目前為止還沒有發(fā)生過。
最常見于否定句和疑問句，一般在句子末尾：
(也可以放在主動詞，或表語前，相對少見)
Have you assigned a day for the interviews yet?
你安排好面試的日子了嗎?
I haven't thought about marriage yet.
我還沒想過結(jié)婚。
We haven't come to a decision on the matter yet.

We use yet in questions and negatives to talk about things that haven't happened, but we think they will. Haven't you left yet? You'll be late!

So just remember: Things that are still happening, haven't finished. Things that have already happened, have finished and things that are yet to happen, haven't started.
