綜合能力共分為三個部分：詞匯語法選擇、完形填空、閱讀理解。其中，閱讀理解的題量多，每篇閱讀下方有十道選擇題，雖然量多，但是難度并不大。

三種題型都是客觀題。這在官方出版的兩本練習(xí)冊(一本綜合，一本實(shí)務(wù))中均有體現(xiàn)，不過練習(xí)冊中的題型有些老舊(比如完型填空采取的是無選項(xiàng)的形式，與正式考試不同)，并且題目的難度也偏高?？梢杂米骶毩?xí)素材，摘抄生詞，拓寬詞匯量，減少閱讀時的障礙。

語法要扎實(shí)

如果備考時間充裕，推薦完整看一遍語法書，選取市面上已有的經(jīng)典語法書籍即可，對語法進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)地學(xué)習(xí)。

豐富詞匯量

因?yàn)榭荚嚿婕暗念}目都是客觀題，不需要拼寫，不需要調(diào)用我們的積極詞匯，只要能夠認(rèn)識詞匯，知道意思就可以了。

推薦的應(yīng)試背單詞法是下載手機(jī)app，利用零碎的時間背單詞，即使不能全部記下來，也要做到眼熟。

翻譯實(shí)務(wù)包括兩篇內(nèi)容：一篇英譯漢，文章主要出自《紐約時報》等外刊;一篇漢譯英，文章與政府事務(wù)相關(guān)，類似《政府工作報告》的文章，考試時間一共三個小時。

翻譯能力用進(jìn)廢退，關(guān)鍵在于練習(xí)。如果條件允許，可以從外刊中選取素材進(jìn)行翻譯練習(xí)。文章表達(dá)地道，用詞精煉，難度等同或略高于考試難度，對英語能力是極大的提高。
