Well, I think there are several ways to keep myself healthy.

托福考試:口語典型錯誤

(1)中心句的表達。

中心句一般會出現(xiàn)在首段首句,它的重要性可想而知,我們不要求表達得多么標新立異,但最起碼的是要表達得正確而又完整,也就是說最基本確認這個句子是由主語subject謂語verb賓語object三部分構(gòu)成。For example, 有道題是這樣的:Choose a place you go to often that is important to you and explain why it is important. Please include specific details in your explanation.我的一位客戶在開始表達他的觀點時說:the place where my grandfather had lived.這就是一個很典型而又不應(yīng)該犯的錯誤。正確的表達為the place where my grandfather had lived is a very important place for me.也許你覺得你絕對不會犯這種低級錯誤,但是當(dāng)你親臨考場,在那種高度緊張的氛圍下,這種錯誤的發(fā)生也不是沒有可能的,所以在你平常的口語練習(xí)就要下意識地養(yǎng)成這種習(xí)慣。

(2)時態(tài)的整體把握。

雖然說在進行陳述時局部的時態(tài)表達錯誤考官會忽略不計,但是太多了就會影響到你的成績。就拿(1)中的事例來說吧,這個考生在陳述時一會使用現(xiàn)在進行時,一會又是過去時,來回地變換,這樣是很不可取的。這個考生應(yīng)該在確定了他的陳述內(nèi)容是關(guān)于他已經(jīng)去世的爺爺之后,就應(yīng)該意識到他這篇陳述應(yīng)該以過去時或者過去完成時為主。

(3)語言表達的多樣性。

托福口語考試要減少口頭禪

托??谡Z考試對考生最具挑戰(zhàn)性的一點是考生幾乎沒有深入思考的時間,從給出題目到開始考試,只有短短的15秒鐘,卻要求在45秒鐘之內(nèi)給出一個有頭有尾的完整回答。老師說,托??荚囀菍忌⒄Z素質(zhì)的考察,很多考生面對計算機,不自覺就會出現(xiàn)很多口頭禪,有英文的:well,you know等或者毫無意義的“啊、嗯”的音節(jié),更有甚者,將自己的中文口頭禪也說出來。這些無意義的詞語出現(xiàn)在只有45秒的口語答案中,很具殺傷力。
