1. 聽力備考只聽自己不熟悉的內(nèi)容

聽上去這句話十分有道理,但是細一想,馬上發(fā)現(xiàn)了問題,其實聽寫這事,大的來說,目的只有1個,就是將單詞與正確的發(fā)音連接起來,但是小的來說,其實是有2個部分,第一個部分是將那些不知道怎么發(fā)音的單詞,與正確的發(fā)音連接起來,比如phenomenon這個單詞,我們不知道怎么發(fā)音,那么在聽寫的時候,我自然也就聽不出來,這里的phenomenon就是標題里所提到的,不認識的那些詞,這個自然是要通過聽寫這種方式來解決的。

但是還有第二種情況,就是我們本來記下的發(fā)音就是錯的,比如說and這個詞,當你沒做過聽寫的時候,你其實是不會分出來know this與notice這兩個之間發(fā)音的區(qū)別的,換句話說,本來原文是notice,但是你很有可能很自信的人為你自己聽到的是know this,這個時候雖然你錯了,但是你自己并不知道。因此,自然也就得不到矯正。這就是為什么,不能只去聽那些不認識的詞,因為如果只聽那些不認識的詞,那么你頭腦中錯誤的發(fā)音,就得不到矯正。

2. 練聽力一聽不懂就馬上看原文

聽寫的過程就是要把一個單詞與其正確的發(fā)音連接在一起,因此一旦聽不出來,那么第一件你應該做的事情,就是把那些聽不出來的內(nèi)容再聽寫5-10遍,如果聽不出來,那么就應該先放下,繼續(xù)等這段材料聽完,再去看原文,否則你會發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的印象不夠深刻,因為每個人都需要最后的一個全盤總結(jié)的過程,因此,這些錯誤的內(nèi)容,最好留到最后一次性的沖擊自己一下,才是最好的選擇。

3. 身處英語環(huán)境懈怠聽力練習

在中國大陸,現(xiàn)在有很多的國際班,出國班,或者說留學班,當然還有很大一部分同學,高中就是在美國讀的,這些同學平時都是在英語的環(huán)境中學習,因此往往對于自己的英語能力有著絕對的相信,那么,如果一旦自己的英語成績不好的話,這些考生的第一反應一定就是自己不知道托福考試的“技巧”。但是實際上,這些同學缺少的真的不是技巧,而是一個真正的實力,或者說,是ETS所認可的實力。其實新托??荚囀且粋€絕對考察細節(jié)的考試,但是這些國際班之中的考友,在自己平時的學習生活中,最不重視的,就是細節(jié),因為課堂之中很多時候,都用簡單句,哪怕是長句,只要能聽懂大概的意思就可以了,也不用抓住細節(jié)。但是這些在課堂中被忽略的能力,恰恰就是新托福考試最為感興趣的能力,因此,哪怕你生活在英語環(huán)境里,也仍然是要去做聽寫的。

4. 聽力練習只做跟讀訓練

很多考友總是覺得聽寫是一個很漫長的工作,輕則耗時1小時,重則耗時3-4個小時。因此,聽寫完全可以進行大規(guī)模的簡化,一個最為簡單的方法就是跟著朗讀看原文,因為,這樣既不會出現(xiàn)聽不出來的時候自己的煩惱,也不會有不認識的情況,同時還能練習自己的閱讀,何樂而不為呢。聽上去貌似很有道理,但是實際上,聽寫的過程就是一個校正你腦中錯誤發(fā)音,以及將那些你不認識的以及你不知道怎么發(fā)音的單詞給配上相應的讀音。但是,如果你只跟著朗讀看原文的話,你很快就會發(fā)現(xiàn),你根本就不知道自己的頭腦之中的哪些發(fā)音是錯誤的,因為你在單純的跟著朗讀看原文的話,你根本就沒有調(diào)動你腦中的對于這個單詞的發(fā)音,換句話說,也就沒有校正自己腦中的發(fā)音。因此在做聽寫的時候,一定不能僅僅看原文,而不寫。

5. 被動接受聽力信息不做主動思考

聽力備考很多考友們認為只要去聽就好了,還思考什么呢。這是一個大錯而特錯的想法,其實當你聽寫的正確率慢慢變化的時候,你很快就會發(fā)現(xiàn)一個瓶頸,無論怎么樣這個瓶頸都無法突破,也就是總是有類似于these和this,再比如說set和sit。這個時候無論再怎么聽,這些錯誤都仍然會犯,之所以會出現(xiàn)這樣的問題,就是因為,這個時候限制你的已經(jīng)不是你的分辨單詞的能力,而是你的對于英語的熟悉程度或者說對于英語語法的熟悉程度,換句話說,這個時候如果要想突破這個瓶頸,就必須用語法、詞性、以及單詞的意思對于聽力來進行校正,比如說如果當你在思考這里該是this還是these,猶豫不決的時候,你應該做的是去看看這個主語相應的謂語動詞的詞性,自然也就知道是單數(shù)還是復數(shù)了。換句話說,當你達到一定高度的時候,限制你的不是你的單獨的單詞辨音的能力,而是你的語法知識以及相關(guān)的詞性、和單詞的意思的綜合判斷能力,某種意義上來說,也就是你在英語上的積累。
