a bit、a little 和 a little bit 的用法區(qū)別
一、 a bit 和 a little 在肯定句中修飾動(dòng)詞、形容詞、副詞和比較級時(shí)可以互換,表示"一點(diǎn)兒"的意思。
The speaker spoke up a bit/a little so as to make himself heard more clearly.
The sick child moaned a bit/a little, and then fell asleep. He's a bit/a little mischievous.

Please move a little further; you're standing in my light.

Can't you walk a little faster?
On the weekend my husband and I get off work a little early.
二、a bit 和 a little 在否定句中的意思恰恰相反,not a bit 相當(dāng)于 not at all(一點(diǎn)兒都不);not a little 相當(dāng)于very(much)或extremely(很、非常)。例如:
not a bit:She is not a bit tired. = She is not tired at all.
I'm really not a bit surprised.
He was not a bit like his father.
not a little:He was not a little annoyed.
She was not a little worried about the expense.
a little:There is a little/a bit of food left for lunch. A little/a bit water is enough for me.
a bit of:We got a bit of a scare.
I do a bit of shopping for the missus.
四、a bit of 的另一種形式是 bits of, a little 則沒有這種變體。例如:
Besides this, he used part of an old army wireless set, and some bits of wood.
His ability to absorb bits of disconnected information was astonishing.
She noticed some bits of fluff on the sleeve of her sweater.
當(dāng) a little 修飾的名詞前有 the, this, that, 所有格等限定詞時(shí),也要用 a little of 的結(jié)構(gòu):
See how my eyes brightened when I tasted a little of this honey.
This remind me a little of those old sayings.
Add a little of the warmed milk and allow to froth a little.
五、a bit 通常修飾表示“令人不快”的形容詞,例如sad, silly, cold, hungry, angry, difficult, heavy, expensive等; a little則無論褒貶都可以修飾,例如:
The song is a bit sad.
You might say I’m a bit silly.
Mary is a little older but a little more beautiful than Ann.
Everyone seemed a little nervous.
六、a bit 和 a little 不能用來修飾“形容詞 + 名詞”的結(jié)構(gòu)。例如:heavy boxes這樣的結(jié)構(gòu),就不能用a bit和a little修飾,不能說a bit heavy boxes;再比如 hot weather,我們不可 以說a little hot weather.
七、a little bit 的意思是“一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)”,用法與 a bit 相同: This is a little bit too difficult for me. Jack is a little bit selfish. I speak a little bit of French. This made me feel a little bit better about myself.

Please hang on for a bit.
別以為“a bit和a little”就是一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)
a bit和a little都有“一點(diǎn)、少許”之意。

There’s a little (=bit of) time left.

a little girl(一個(gè)小姑娘)
a little water(有一點(diǎn)水)
注意:
not a little 和not a bit的意思完全不同,前者是“許多、很”,后者是“一點(diǎn)兒也不”、“毫不”。

It’s not a little cold.
a little, a bit 但a little可直接修飾不可數(shù)名詞,而a bit則需在后面加介詞of才可修飾不可數(shù)名詞。例如:
This skirt is a little (a bit) large.
