分析性寫作
分析性寫作分為兩部分:一為觀點題(issue),內(nèi)容通常是對于社會、科學(xué)、歷史、哲學(xué)、政治等方面的觀點進行評論;二為回應(yīng)題(argument),內(nèi)容通常是對給定情景中推理的駁斥。寫作部分總分為兩部分分?jǐn)?shù)的平均值,分?jǐn)?shù)間差異的最小單位為0.5分。若文章被判為雷同,ETS將取消考生考試成績。
分析性寫作兩項獨立計時,Issue與Argument 每項任務(wù)30分鐘,寫作部分將重點考察考生有針對性地對具體考題做出反應(yīng)的能力,而非要求考生堆砌泛泛的文字。具體說來,這些重點關(guān)注的能力包括:清楚有效地闡明復(fù)雜觀點,用貼切的事理和事例支撐觀點,考察/驗證他人論點及其相關(guān)論證,支撐一個有針對性的連貫的討論,控制標(biāo)準(zhǔn)書面英語的各個要素。
GRE語文
語文共分為兩部分,每部分約20題,每部分時長30分鐘。第二部分難度由第一部分考生正確率決定。如果第一部分正確率較高,則第二部分難度增大。如果第一部分正確率低,第二部分難度減小。語文題目分為填空、閱讀和同義填句。
GRE數(shù)學(xué)
數(shù)學(xué)也分為兩部分,每部分約20題,每部分時長35分鐘。計算器軟件會在屏幕一側(cè)提供。數(shù)學(xué)題型包括選擇,填空兩類??疾祀y度不超過高中水平,對于大多數(shù)中國考生而言,GRE數(shù)學(xué)部分屬于送分部分。
