whom可以用作代詞

whom是who的賓格,在正式文體中常作賓語,用作疑問代詞或連接代詞時非正式文體往往用主格代替,若緊跟在介詞之后則只能用whom。若在從句中用作表語則只能用who,不能用whom。

whom用作關(guān)系代詞引出定語從句修飾指人的先行詞時意思是“他,她,他們”,在定語從句中作賓語,通常被省略或用who, that代替。

whom用于非限制性定語從句中作動詞或介詞的賓語時不能省略。

但實(shí)際上，除非在正式文體中，賓格關(guān)系代詞 whom 往往省略不用，或用who或that代之：

不過，在以下幾種情況值得注意：

1. 直接跟在介詞后面作賓語時，只能用 whom，而且不能省略：
