　　downstairs是副詞，修飾fell，作狀語。
　　2 Try and stand up.試著站起來。在英語中，常用and把兩個動詞連接在一起，如第13課的come upstairs and see it.這種句子往往用來鼓勵某種動作。
　　3 Here在這里是感嘆詞，意思是“來”或“喂”，引起別人注意。
　　4 Let me help you.讓我來幫你。其中l(wèi)et有“允許”的意思。注意在let后面要加不帶to的動詞不定式。

　　1．賓語從句（1）
　　賓語從句在句中作賓語，一般用that引導(dǎo)，但在口語中經(jīng)常省略掉 that.
　　可用在 say, think, believe, hope, know, understand, suppose 等動詞之后：
　　She says that she is cold.
　　她說她冷。
　　He thinks that he needs an X-ray.
　　他認(rèn)為他需要拍個X片。
　　I know that I can repair this car.
　　我知道我能修理這部車。
　　They believe that they will have more money.
　　他們認(rèn)為他們會有更多的錢。
　　可用在某些描寫感情的形容詞之后，如 afraid, sure, sorry,glad等：

　　2．間接引述時的時態(tài)
　　如果間接引語中的引述動詞是現(xiàn)在時，那么其后的時態(tài)通常與原來口頭陳述句的時態(tài)相同。轉(zhuǎn)述剛剛說完的話時通常皆如此。

　　That case has hurt his reputation.
