(一)淺談背單詞的習(xí)慣

八個黃金片段：

起床后5分鐘、早餐前5分鐘、早餐后5分鐘、午餐前5分鐘、午餐后5分鐘、晚餐前5分鐘、晚餐后5分鐘、睡前5分鐘

任何時間任何地點都可以背GRE詞匯書，GRE對詞匯量要求非常大，要兩萬以上，上不封頂。

(二)GRE詞匯記憶方法

1、詞根詞綴記憶單詞

2、講故事記憶單詞

3、聯(lián)想記憶單詞

4、諧音記憶單詞

具體舉幾個例子：

1、諧音記憶單詞

sentimental adj. 感傷的，多愁善感的

釋：arising from tender feelings rather than reasonable ones

例：He has a sentimental attachment to his birthplace.

sentimental music 傷感的音樂

諧音“三屜饅頭”→吃了三屜饅頭，吃飽飯沒事干，開始多愁善感

scornful adj. 蔑視的，嘲諷的

同義詞：contemptuous, disdainful

scorn [ 蔑視：s(死)+玉米(corn)→長得像死玉米→看不起你 ] + ful

例：He gave a scornful laugh at my proposal.

2、詞根詞綴記憶單詞

The stem and its value are the basis of the English language.(John Kennedy)

詞干及其所包含的意義是整個英語的基礎(chǔ)(約翰·肯尼迪)

詞根詞綴的作用和地位

前綴方向→詞根含義→后綴詞性

詞根 log 表示 speak [說]

以及有兩個由尾輔音音變產(chǎn)生的同義詞根 loqu 和 locu.

保證每天有 4-5 塊單詞記憶的時間，充分利用人類記憶兩大黃金時間，早上起來的前 30-45 分鐘，晚上入睡前的 30-45 分鐘，然后在上午、中午或者下午，各任意抽出 45 分鐘至 1 小時時間即可，這樣每天總共有 2-3 個小時來背誦單詞。

記住背單詞的關(guān)鍵原則，第一遍接觸考試詞匯，你的目標不是和所有詞成為莫逆之交，而是混個眼熟。要逐漸熟悉起來，應(yīng)該反復(fù)，多遍地看詞本身。

GRE填空答題方法

Question Structure

1、由 1-5 個句子組成的短文

2、 1-3 個空格

3、每個空格有 3 個選項(如果只有 1 個空格，則有 5 個選項)每個空格的選項是獨立發(fā)揮作用的;也即，一個空格的選擇不影響另一個空格的選項選擇

4、每個空格只有一個正確選項;全部空格選出正確選項才得分，部分正確不得分

GRE填空的能力要求

輸入(input)：句子結(jié)構(gòu)、邏輯關(guān)系、語義認知、詞匯理解

輸出(output)：邏輯完整性、語義完整性、相關(guān)背景知識

GRE填空主要考察單詞和邏輯的兩方面能力。

推理能力：

1、基本的邏輯思維能力

同義邏輯(A and B)：解釋，并列，目的，修飾，遞進，因果

反義邏輯(A but B)：對比，轉(zhuǎn)折

2、基本的英文語法結(jié)構(gòu)

詞匯能力：

詞匯能力是決定融入美國知識圈的必要條件。

填空題方法論：

1、確定與空格相關(guān)的邏輯關(guān)系。

2、確定與空格相關(guān)的語義。

當然最主要還是擴大詞匯量，要把GRE核心詞匯書作為 pillow book 枕邊書，如果單詞都不認識的話，那技巧再多還是枉然。
