Step 1:Warm-up
1.播放歌曲“If you’re happy, clap your hands”,分小組比賽歌唱。

Step 2: Presentation
1.完成“Let’s try”部分。老師介紹背景,提出問題:Who is talking? What are they talking about?讓學(xué)生帶著問題去聽聽力,理解對話,核對答案,并再次播放聽力,提取關(guān)鍵信息。
2.由“Let’s try”部分情景導(dǎo)入“Let’s talk”。
T:Sarah的一家本打算去動物園,但是出現(xiàn)意外。Let’s find out what happened?
(1)展示“Part A”部分“Let’s learn”中Sarah抱小貓時難過神情的圖片,提問:
T: How does she feel?
Ss:She is sad.
T: What’s wrong?
Ss: The cat is ill.
T: The cat is ill. She should see a vet. When you are ill, you should see a doctor.
(2)教師列舉多個例子與對話讓學(xué)生理解should后面加動詞原型,如:
I should… He/She/You should…
(3)教師設(shè)置情景,如:
T:Tomorrow we will hold a test, please be prepared.
Ss: Oh,no.
T: Don’t be sad.
(4)播放“Let’s talk”錄音,并提出問題:What’s wrong? How does Sam feel? What should Sam’s father do? 邊聽邊理解對話意思,核對答案并再次聽錄音。
Step 3:Consolidation and extension
1.跟讀“Let’s talk”部分的錄音,學(xué)習(xí)正確的語音語調(diào),戴上人物頭飾表演對話。
2.完成“Act with your friends”部分的任務(wù)。教師可請一位學(xué)生配合示范,如:
S: I’m angry. T: Don’t be angry. You should take a deep breath.
引導(dǎo)學(xué)生邊做深呼吸,邊說“take a deep breath”,教讀,板書。根據(jù)圖片,模仿示例,盡量用英文提出相應(yīng)的建議,教師可做適當(dāng)引導(dǎo),找每組代表統(tǒng)計建議,并做出評價,綜合建議。
